Barrel Log is a local-first, privacy-focused mobile app that helps shooters track their firearms, barrels, ammo, and shooting performance. We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your data under your control.

1. Information We Collect

Local Data (Stored Only on Your Device):

• Firearm/gun information (names, calibers, photos)
• Barrel tracking data (round counts, wear percentages, cleaning history)
• Ammo inventory (lots, quantities, costs)
• Shooting sessions, MOA groups, and PRS match logs

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use certain features.

Data Sent When You Use Features:

• AI Coach (Gemini): When you use the AI Coach or Bore Sight Analyzer, the text and/or photos you send are transmitted to Google’s Gemini API to generate responses.
• In-App Purchases: Processed by Apple and RevenueCat.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to provide the core features of the app: tracking guns, barrels, ammo, calculations, and AI coaching when requested.

3. Data Storage and Security

All your shooting data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your personal shooting logs.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The only exceptions are:

• Google (Gemini API) — only when you use the AI Coach
• Apple and RevenueCat — for processing in-app purchases

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can delete any gun, ammo lot, session, or the entire app at any time.
