SpotterCast Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SpotterCast iOS application ("App") published by Stephen Moore ("we", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Weather & alerts disclaimer

SpotterCast provides weather forecasts, radar imagery, and NWS alerts for informational purposes only. Do not rely on the App as your sole source for life-safety decisions. Always follow instructions from local authorities and official NWS sources during severe weather.

SpotterCast Pro subscriptions

• SpotterCast Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
• Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

AI features

AI features may send weather context, your prompts, and optional sky photos to an AI service provider to generate responses. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer the App, abuse API endpoints, or use the App in violation of applicable law or third-party terms (including AI and weather data providers).

Privacy

Our collection and use of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
